During
the 2003-2004 intersession period project participants
organized local teaching
workshops, assisted their students in country-level
literature monitoring and writing reviews
in English, delivered visiting
lectures, and involved their students in research
activities planned at the first
summer session.
The reports on the research
exercise with students were presented at the 2004
Summer Session, where the
academic advisors of the program acted as discussants/opponents
for the presenters. Participants received thus feedback
both on the scholarly content of their reports, and
the educational aspects of involving students in research.
