Aluas" Documentation Centre for Multiculturalism
The Resource Centre was named after the late Prof. Ion Aluas, founder of CCRIT and an eminent scholar, whose activity contributed to the improvement of interethnic relations in Transylvania. It has been established as a part of the "Civic Network for Cultural Pluralism and Multicultural Integration in Southeastern Europe".
The Resource Centre offers access to bibliographical sources, reference materials, statistical data, books and periodicals, databases related to interethnic and inter-cultural relations, as well as other resources in the field of social sciences which promote a scientific multi-disciplinary approach.
Persons interested in multiculturalism (students, academics, researchers, scientists, etc.) and representatives of institutions (NGO's, local authorities, educational institutions, etc.) active in this field are welcome.
• Databases and bibliography related to inter-cultural relations, including inter-cultural conflict management, multicultural education, inter-cultural learning, etc.
• Databases containing descriptions of NGO's, research centers, and foundations and their activities and projects within the field of inter-cultural relations.
• Internet access for exploring available resources on multiculturalism
